Tiny Homes: One in a Greenhouse and One on a Tokyo Train Line

I have a thing for tiny homes, and I think it started way back when I was a kid and persuaded my dad to build my sister and me a “cottage” in our backyard: it wasn’t just insulated, it was 2 stories with a pigeon loft in the back and a porch on the front. I spent a ton of time out there, had sleepovers with my friends, etc. Probably my favorite house I’ve owned was my little 900-sq-ft cottage when I first moved to town here, and I still miss my Sprinter van—a tiny home on wheels! I just love cozy spaces where everything you need is within reach and you’re not taking up room you don’t need. And so I follow a couple of tiny home channels on YouTube. Here are two recent posts from those channels, one on a fascinating build *inside* a greenhouse in Tasmania, and one about a man who made lemonade from an eminent domain action in Tokyo that took 2/3 of his property for the expansion of a train line.
