I hand-wrote these menus on postcards and then immediately recycled them like a genius…so I don’t have any pictures for you. But the centerpiece was David Chang’s famous Momofuku Bo Ssam, which came out very well. Everyone went nuts for Smitten Kitchen’s Miso Black Sesame poporn, which we had as an appetizer with somewhat forgettable brandy cocktails. This roasted carrot salad with coffee and 5-spice was fussy to make, but everyone loved it. And opinions were split on the The Manor Born cake from Serendipity 3 in NYC. I loved it (especially with a glass of Armagnac); others were more meh.
